Character Class Compilation

Hi all,



One of the most interesting parts of GURPS is it's versatility. It is after all, both Generic and Universal (and a Role Play System). Sometimes though this can be it's downfall, allowing multiple players to fill the same roles in a party. Now this isn't normally a problem, but there are times when it's important to have distinct and varied roles.



Dungeon Fantasy attempts to (and manages to) solve this problem by introducing the concept of character classes to GURPS. The options there are cool, and more are added in Pyramid Supplements, but what unique ideas have you managed to come up with? Alternatively, what standard classes do you play and enjoy that you think are under-appreciated. Combination classes are allowed, part of the idea is to define what niches a class fits, to give an example in classic DF the Scout fits the part of both an archer, and a wilderness explorer.



To get things moving, here's my first contribution, The Artillery. You're a cross between a ranger and a tank. You don't need to move since everything is done at range, so you pile on as much armour as you can and just sit there, firing off shots at anything that moves. Particularly suits high DPS, weapons, like slings, atlatl, and throwing axes.



Not overly complicated as a build, but different to the typical selection. Now it's your turn. :)
