I'm building a creature (close to a sentient alligator) who's only manipulators are its front feet. I know I get -6 for having 14 point arms instead of 20 point arms, but I feel that the creature isn't getting points back far at any one time either having legless or no fine manipulators (two large disadvantages). And do I give a point discount to ST for having NFM much of the time (it has ST +10)?
Complicating this yet again is the creature not really being at a disadvantage in the water -- it can swim and use its manipulators. How do I price this fairly? How do I price this attractively?
Is it for a PC? kind of. Its a racial template I hope a PC would play, but unless I can find a way to get the cost down, its not going to happen.
