Well I bought this last spring about 14 months ago and I've taken my first look at the Pdf. For varrious reasons I can't do more than skim the 689 page text online and I egarly await my hardcopy (which will be hell to hold and read).
Meanwhile I'll put some of my first reactions here and invite others to do the same.
First big plus! The book supports playing Trad mages, Technocrats, or members of the Disperate Allience.
This also leads to a big minus. The Disparte Allience, which is made up of the Hollow Ones, the Ali-Batin, the Taftani, the Bata, the Ngoma, the Wu-Lung, the Daughters of Hypolyta, the Templars, and some others, is the most lame brained, badly designed, self-rightous, excuse for a mages org yet. Frequint uses of the word "Whitemare" to describe all post Medieval history should give you the flavor of this group.
On the other claw, many other bits look good.
More news as I have it.
Feel free to post your ideas about and reactions to this text(the RGP not my posting). Especially those lucky folks who are getting to read it.
