slippery mud golems

jeudi 16 avril 2015

I've been using the tantalizing Pyramid Appendix Z Golems article as a base for fantasy golems for my campaign. Here's the question: your mud golem, who can squeeze through poorly-hung door frames or cracks in the rock - is that Slippery +10?

I looked at Elastic Features, Permeating and Stretching (IDHMBWM but I think the names are about right) and of all of them Slippery seems, surprisingly, to be the most appropriate. Seems like it goes nicely with our golem friend's DX of 9 - he won't be doing any acrobatic leaps but he'll still have a good chance of squeezing through tight areas that give a penalty of even -5. And for a Terminator 2-style anything-but-airtight squeeze, seems like it would be Slippery +15 maybe. But have I missed a better advantage to model this? Thanks!
