I am trying to make a character that has a fighting style similar to that of Katarina from League of Legends (The woman at 1:58 in the video) or House of Flying Daggers if you have ever seen that movie. This means a lot of emphasis on bladed combat, moving quickly, and striking from a distance with thrown knives, shurikens, concealed blades etc...
But I am running into trouble trying to replicate her knives punching through what appears to be some very thick armor. I have most of the books and I am well aware that this would be a cinematic skill but I cant seem to find anything regarding this. Can anybody help me?
