High Pain Threshold

Does anyone else find that High Pain Threshold creates problems, especially when HT is high as well? Characters become walking meatsacks who rarely suffer ill effects from even quite large levels of injury. Without shock, and with 96% resistance to stun and knockdown from HT16, you become a walking tower of HP.

I know I have kind of created this problem by allowing stats that high and letting the points total get that inflated that this is a widespread problem in my group. I was wondering if anyone has house rules about HPT which limit its scope a bit- always seemed just too good for 10 points.


One idea I had was to change HPT so it only halves shock penalties. Any thoughts?
