I'm currently building a setting where many people live on a tidally locked planet, and I have a question. Obviously, it's impossible to have a geosynchronous orbit over a tidally locked planet, so I initially thought a space elevator was out, but then I started to wonder if it would be possible to build a space elevator out to either the Lagrange 1 or 2 points instead. Would that be a possibility? I would appreciate any help on the matter. Thanks in advance!
