OK, I'm planning on putting together a demo for my group on GURPS and I'm wanting to use Lands Out of Time. Specifically I want to have a group of Tarn soldiers fighting Velociraptors. Now My problem is this: Money. Due to the way things work out with starting cash a caveman would get his full amount, $250, but a person from Tarn would only get the normal 20%, or $100.
Yeah, a bit of a problem. There's also the bit where this would predate munitions arms, good for allow players to make a choice of what they use but it means they have to pay for it themselves.
Now Lands Out of Time says that Tarn soldiers are Status 1, so do I give them two levels of Wealth, which will put the starting fund back to $500 and allow players to buy lots of stuff in the future with the way the jobs system works or do something else?
