TL6 mine as a suitable 'dungeon'?

Greetings, all!



I'm having an idea of giving the party an optional 'dungeon run'. Long story short, I have an opportunity to let them explore an old (TL6) mine, with weird minerals and monsters. The question is, can I make it interesting? Can it have a map worthy of exploration, maybe even of getting lost in case of being chased by a monster? Of getting a cave-in and seeking an alternate exit? Any maps that I should use for inspiration/ getting a grip on realism? Any other interesting stuff?
