I watched this Amazon series the last two weeks. While I haven't read the books, from what I can tell the series is reasonable faithful to them, with a more recent start date (instead of serving in Vietnam, Bosch fought in both Gulf Wars).
The plot for the series looks like it mostly comes from one book. The acting is a bit hit and miss, as expected for a show that likely didn't have a large budget. I think Titus Welliver was servicable in the title role, and I like to watch fellow Los alum Lance Reddick in practically anything. Jason Gedrick was adequate as the main antagonist. Liked the work by Sarah Clarke, Joel Rosenberg and Amy Aquino.
Looking forward to season two.
