On Tuesday a flight from Barcelona to Dusseldorf by the airline Germanwings crashed in the Alps. All 150 people on board perished.
Now it has emerged that the crash was deliberately caused by the co-pilot who seems to have used the opportunity when the captain stepped out of the cockpit to lock the cockpit and crash the plane. The captain can be heard on the cockpit voice recorder trying to reason with, and eventually to break down the door. But post-911 the doors are reinforced and locked.
