I had a lift from a friend home from the pub on Wednesday. Maybe 10 minutes with Dave declaring he had been unwell, should have checked with what.
From 1030 pm, I went home, to bed, until 4am: stomach cramps, crapping and vomiting and then not being able to properly eat or drink for 4 days was a new experience. Even drinking water was an issue.
Managed to eat a whole Guadalupe melon over 4 hours. Friday night meant no matter what virus, it's getting doused with 2 pints of beer and a Jaegermister.
By Saturday I had equipped myself with 2 punnets of grapes, some olives, various juices.
Apart from 4 days of hot and cold sweats I have managed to quit smoking again... this time with a concentration of not lapsing. Suffice to say today is the day where the top and bottom have reconnected.
I would have preferred the flu, this was one mean virus.
