In my campaign, all mutants have superhuman strength, stamina, and sometimes agility, and some have additional powers as well. They're barred from competition, but, if you were an athlete would the mere knowledge that these people could casually break every record affect your spirit? For instance, would knowing that all mutants can outrun you, even of they don't train, and there's one out there who can break the sound barrier, make you lose interest in track?
