Ah, villains. How I live them. This thread is for the characters who are not only antagonists, not only evil, but truly vile. Characters we love to hate.
My current 'favorite' is Dolores Umbridge, the most hated character in the Potterverse. Although we fear Voldemort, we also feel that we would like to be him. He's cool. Not so with Dolores Umbridge. She torments the students and professors at Hogwarts - all in the name of the 'greater good' and she enjoys every second of it. She is the bully we've all met, the unfair teacher who treated us with contempt. And she even manages to make kittens repulsive. Someone who can do that must be a figure to remember.
