Blindsight is a fascinating disorder where the conscious visual system of the brain has been destroyed yet unconscious processing - including the ability to navigate in the world, grasp objects, tell if something is moving, etc. is intact. But the patient is completely unaware of this and is equally amazed each time they successfully perform a task.
