For those Car Wars players who have artistic skills (I wish I had them!), here is a possible idea to solve the minor issue regarding the limited number of counter wrecks in Car Wars Classic resulting from each car counter having the same intact car graphic on both sides.
As I mentioned above, my artistic skills are limited, therefore I have not attempted this process, and I do not know if this method will be successful.
Car Wars Expansion Set 4 (CWX4), Armadillo Autoduel Arena, is available on Warehouse 23 in electronic format. The counter sheet in CWX4 contains the corresponding wreck counters for the 16 car counters (Cars 1-16) in Car Wars Classic.
Print the CWX4 counter sheet on a sheet of adhesive-based paper. Carefully remove each wreck counter label and carefully attach it to one side of each car counter in Car Wars Classic. If this method is successful, a Car Wars player should now have 16 car counters with an intact car on top and its matching wreck on the bottom.
Car Wars Expansion Set 3 (CWX3), East Midville, is also available on Warehouse 23 in electronic format. The counter sheet in CWX3 contains the three corresponding car counters for the three wrecked car counters in Car Wars Classic (Cars 17, 18 and 19).
