Charity question

Ok let me set up the situation I have a question for.



There are 4 players:

Player A has 8 cards and must give charity

Player B has 4 cards

Player C has 5 cards

Player D has 5 cards



So if player A gives player B 1 card to get up to 5 cards and its an equippable item, can player B immediately equip it and be at 4 cards and therefore deserving of more charity?



Also same question but with Level up cards.
