National Superheroes Game

Silly or sensible, government agent or outlaw, or just plain outright weird! It doesn't matter which. The United States has a slew of these guys, Russia has a few that may qualify (though nowhere near the number they had as the Soviet Union), and even the United Kingdom has a few folks that walk around fighting crime and stopping alien invasions with the Union Jack on their chest.



Now, it's the rest of the world's turn. Why should these guys have all the fun?





I'll start:



Name: La Femme Fantastique

Alter Ego: Alexa Charboneaux

Nationality: France



Powers: Traditional superhuman strength, agility, stamina, durability, and flight; able to perceive bullets in flight.



Origin: Alexa was a college student majoring in medieval history with a minor in archeology when she was invited to a tour of a castle reportedly used by Joan d'Arc during her campaign against the English. While there, she heard a voice calling her name, a voice only she could hear. She broke away from the tour group and ended up in the crypts underneath the castle, where she was visited by the spirit of Joan d'Arc herself. The spirit merged with her, granting her powers and giving her the drive to use those powers to fight for France. The press has dubbed her "La Femme Fantastique" (rough English translation: Fantastic Woman).
