I have a Friday afternoon class, six 7th grade boys of varying English levels, and I'm supposed to teach them for 90 minutes. Yeeeeah. We've been using board and card games to keep it light but they need to have a speaking or writing component to keep their parents happy.
What do you recommend? Munchkin I think will have too many inside jokes but I haven't played in awhile to know for sure. Liar/Bullsh-- works very well for us but even that gets old after awhile. Uno (the card game) is fun but includes even less speaking than Liar. Chess, while they love it, is very minimal speaking and only entertains two at a time, four if we play it quadro.
One other detail--I teach school in South Korea, so shipping costs are an issue. These boys are very well-versed in League of Legends.

Best game for a middle school ESL class
