An article was published today on ABC News, by Jonathan Drew of the Associated Press, about 10 Native American tribes that have laws that specifically prohibit same sex marriage.
A legal expert quoted in the article says that the tribal laws won't be affected by the recent Supreme Court ruling legalizing same sex marriage because they weren't a party to the signing of the US Constitution.
Now obviously most of these tribes, at least when these laws were passed, weren't Christians. That being the case I wonder if the media and the LGBT community will go after them the way they went after Memories Pizza, or if, because they aren't Christian, they'll ignore these laws.
Do you think they should ignore these laws? Do you think the tribes should be held to a different standard despite being American Citizens?
