attacking while flying or galloping

By the way just a small clarification question. Let's say you're a swooping hawk, snatching wyvern or charging centaur. If you're moving at high speed, when you attack it will always be a Wild Swing (or Heroic Charge if you can do it), no?

I understand that a rider is himself stationary on a horse, so he can make an attack with just speed, range etc. penalties. But if you're the one doing the moving, there's no "Cruising" setting where you can glide into your foes at the same speed as last turn, attack them and continue past - you'll always suffer the penalties for Move and Attack. Is that correct?

Seems a bit harsh for our poor centaur friend but not unrealistic. Will probably just mean I need to up the Will a bit for a diving drake to make sure it can get the Heroic Charge right before it's torn to pieces by merciless party members, ha.
