[Spaceships] Firestorm interceptor

Helping a friend figure something out for one of his alien species, a warlike antelope kind of race which lacks any culture outside of perpetual war. This is based off a pic he showed which gave it four guns sticking forward.

n'Rakkene Firestorm Interceptor
The standard fast interceptor of the alien n'Rakkene, the Firestorm is tiny, fast, and agile, relying more on speed and maneuverability than on heavy defenses. An ovoid craft, its pilot controls it in a manner similar to a Human on a sport "crotch-rocket" motorcycle.

<TFB71> Yeah. I have the original stats for it in one of my notebooks. I'll dig it up and type it out tomorrow

<TFB71> I originally wrote them up as having 4mm hyper-velocity railguns but realized the Firestorm isn't large enough to store enough ammunition, so I swapped them over to pulsed particle

<TFB71> Restricted to soldier-boosts, limited ship infrastructure regeneration, and on-death goopification.

<TFB71> Two layers of advanced armor (outer is reactive the inner is ablative) over a semi-gel impact/radiation buffer, shetahing the chassis.

<TFB71> ECM and emission limiting stealth systemsas well as signal-deflective surfaces

<Phantasm> and I'm skimping on armor on the rear to give it the most engine possible

<Phantasm> didn't think so... but what about gravatic compensators?

<TFB71> It has some, but won't soak more than 20 Gs
<Phantasm> how many Gs do you see this thing pulling?
<Phantasm> a single super reactionless thruster will give 50Gs
<Phantasm> the next step down, 6 hot reactionless thrusters, will give 12G acceleration
<TFB71> 'Safe' limit is 30, 42 if the pilot disables the over-ride
<Phantasm> hmm... that's not gonna be easy to figure in Spaceships.
<Phantasm> I'm seeing accelerations of 1G, 2G, 50G, or 100G, but very little 10G. Also a lot of 0.1G or less
<TFB71> That's why I ignore A LOT of GURPS canon rules and customize things

<TFB71> Fighters are all sublight, but a fast sublight. Max is .4c

<TFB71> Missiles can be included if break-away hard-mounts are installed for expanded load-out, but stock configurations is guns only
<Phantasm> highly agile in atmo?
<TFB71> With gravitics, a Firestorm could dance a ballet on re-entry
<TFB71> The fighter is equipped with a 'lobotomized' AI. It has no personality, nor can it ever develop one, and is capable of only semi-autonomous operation.
<TFB71> It has set parameter that allow it to act. For everything else, it requires user input
<Phantasm> Ejection capability?
<TFB71> Nope. Its assumed that if incoming fire gets through the ablative layer, the pilot is screwed
<maxmahem> plus at the speeds it travels, ejection would probably be fatal I figure.
<TFB71> Depends on the speeds its at when breached
<TFB71> Just because max velocity is .4c doesn't mean it is always traveling at .4c
<Phantasm> Okay, final version, I managed to protect the engines.


A lot of this stuff is a bit more detailed than Spaceships covers, and some of his numbers I think were just plucked from mid-air. Did I get everything covered?
