This concept has come up a few times. Is there ever a situation where it would be applicable? Does it even vaguely make sense?
An Example scenario where it might come up: a character has the ability to wield blades telekinetically. At range I just treat this as a ranged attack with a rate of fire, easy. What if he tries having all blades strike the same target in the same second in melee? Is that just making a ranged attack with a ROF in melee? Is it making a multi-attack with a large number of weapons? Is it a melee attack with ROF?
