A player of mine wants to have a sentient ring that lets him cast spells.
The lore of it is, a powerful sorcerer is trapped in the ring. It empathicly reads the bearer and bestows powers on the person based on their personality. It creates a symbiotic relationship, and if the ring feels its self in danger will cast spells to protect its host.
The ring its self would have many many spells, but the player would probably only get three or so to actively use, with the possibility of maybe learning more from the ring.
Looking for simple ways to stat this out, cite book pages if you can so I can look it over :D
