Mission Statement for Girl Gamer Gathering
This one day event is created primarily by women and for women, with the help of our allies of all genders, to provide a diverse and tolerant environment for women of all ages to play games. We hope to provide a safe space for women to learn new games, rediscover old favorites, forge friendships, and to empower women to hold their own in competition. We welcome all people who play well with others!
Date: April 18th 2015
Time: 10 AM to 10 PM
Place: Ontario Radisson Conference Center 2200 E. Holt Blvd, Ontario, CA 91761
Cost: $15 pre-reg online, $20 at the door.
Rooms available Friday and Saturday night ( single, double, triple, quad) for $82 a night plus applicable taxes ( a limited number of suites are available, please contact us to inquire about rate and availability) Reservations: 1-800-333-3333
FREE PARKING
Includes: Tabletop Gaming Room with family games, strategy games, classic games, card games, dice games, fun games, cooperative games, and Euro games; trading card games (like Magic the Gathering or Vanguard); Demo room for learning new games, play testing prototypes, and meeting game developers; RPGs; LARPs; workshops and learn to play sessions; a social games room; an opportunity to play mahjongg- or learn it; an area for handheld games; a place for plugging in your laptop to play online games; meet ups for online game groups and Facebook gamers; and a consuite for complimentary water, soft drinks and snacks!
I plan to run the usual Munchkin learn to plays, Munchkin games, the Dice games, SPANC and Chez Goth...open to suggestions for more!
