I am not a native English speaker, so please tell me, in fictional settings in general and sci-fi settings especially, does naming a nation something with Empire or Imperium cause associations with Nazi Germany, the third Reich?
On the one hand, ina Company of Heroes cutscene, they talk about the "third empire", on the other hand in the Traveller setting the Third Imperium is even named "third" but does not resemble Nazi Germany in any meaningful name.
