These are just some initial impressions; I'm currently three episodes in.
There should be more gunplay. This is the 21st century; professionals who are expected to use force routinely have extensive training in firearms, and pretty sketchy training in unarmed combat. Accordingly, the criminals should be a LOT more keen to use guns, and DD would probably have to follow suit. Fisticuffs are fine as an occasional extra or in cartoony shows where violence has to be downplayed for regulatory reasons. But gritty realism calls for guns.
I like that they haven't revealed the Kingpin too soon. The mystery and buildup add to his stature as a villain.
Who the heck would put up with a nickname like "Foggy", particularly in a professional setting?
