Ghostly Equipment

From Spectral Minute Men with Ghostly Muskets and Bayonets, to Headless Horsemen with cavalry sabers, there are a lot of situations in which spectral undead are equipped with gear.

My question is basically how to model this?

If a ghost's template includes Can Carry Objects on their insubstantiality and invisibility, and assuming they don't have Dead Broke, could they have gear that is as ghostly as them and becomes invisible and insubstantial if disarmed instead of becoming substantial (like it normally would with the Can Carry Objects modifier)?

If the answer is no... is there a simple way to give a ghost gear without building every weapon as an innate attack or something?
