This is a dystopia world - after the Grain Blight and the food riots, after the Russo-American War and the Second Civil War - after the near collapse of society - after cloning was introduced! What would the slang of the day have in it?

"Joe doesn't worry about going across I-20 through 'Bama. He updates HAL back in Austin every time before he leaves."
