GURPS Epic Fantasy suggestion

I would like to suggest a partner to the DF line called GURPS Epic Fantasy. It would use the same 250 point starting points but instead of delving in dungeons in the land of gjjfjjdjvt, your PC would be on medieval Earth filled with creatures of myths and legends. There would be ancient Egypt go explore along with ancient India and the city of Kathmandu to explore. There would be semi realistic societies and cultures based on those of the ancient times. It would be sort of like the world of Ars Magica or the World of Darkness during the dark ages. It could fit seemlessly with old GURPS books like Vikings, Celtic Myth, Arabian Nights and other loose historical fantasy books. What do you think?
