They are designed to be thrown and similar weapons that are also designed to be thrown have much high ranges. The discus and chakram both have x4/x6 range, the boomerang even has x6/x10 range. These are circular balanced weapons that spin as they fly just like shuriken do.
Shuriken on the other hand seems to have comparable range to heavier, unbalanced throwing weapons like throwing knives and axes, and has exactly the same range as throwing a MACE.
This doesn't make sense to me. Why is it written up like this?
