I'm really thinking more Oni than Ogre, but anything in that realm will do - brutal, anthropophagic, cunning, etc. I could have sworn there was a Japanese setting about Yokai that had an oni extension, but I can't find it.
Setting or books that have well worked ogre/cannibal societies?
